Mt.Huangshan Exploration 5 days

In this tour, we recommend you stay overnight at the hotel on the top of the mountain, so you can view the spectacular sunrise on it.

Itinerary
Day 1 Arrive in Tunxi
Upon your arrival in Tunxi (by air, train or coach from other destination in China), your local guide will pick you up and transfer you to your hotel. Relax or explore the city on your own.
Accommodation: Xinan Country Villa Hotel or similar
Day 2 Tunxi - Huangshan (B/L)
Morning trip to Yixian County. Not far from Huangshan, there are two interesting villages worth visiting - Hong Village and Xidi Village. Hong Village is also the place where the Oscar winner movie “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon” was shot. The scenery and village itself is so inspiring that many young artists rent rooms and extend their stay here. After lunch, take a scenic ride to the mountain. Take cable car up to Baie Ridge (Baie Ling) and hike all the way to the Beihai scenic area. Enjoy the fantastic views on the way but don’t look at the scenery when you are walking and don’t walk when you are looking at the scenery.

Day 3 Huangshan (B/L)
Get up early this morning to view the sunrise above the eternal sea of clouds and pine tree-studded peaks. Enjoying sunrise in Huangshan is a must-do thing as it is one of the four wonders of the site (the other three are Sea of Cloud, Peculiar Pine Trees and Strangely Shaped Rocks). From April to September the sun rises around 5:30am. In February, March, October and November it is around 6:30am. In winter it is around 7:00am. After enjoying the breathtaking sunrise, return to your hotel for a short break. After breakfast, continue to explore the mountain: Lion Peak, Flying Rock and Brightness Peak.

Day 4 Huangshan - Tunxi (B/L)
Today we will come down the western side of the mountain on foot. This side is a lot steeper and will take about 6 hours while the scenery is absolutely incomparable. Although the scenery serves as a good distraction, do not be too distracted and lose your footings. Transfer to Tunxi. Stroll leisurely on the Ancient Street which is lined on both sides with old shops in unique Huizhou architectural style.

Day 5 Depart from Tunxi (B)
Free until being transferred to the railway station or airport.
Extended tour can be arranged on request.
